Clerk webhooks, without the lost events
Sync Clerk users and sessions reliably: Svix signatures verified on arrival, every event stored, retried and replayable.
Common problems, solved
- Clerk uses svix-* header names, so Standard Webhooks libraries need extra mapping.
- HookStead accepts both header styles; your app verifies one consistent signature.
- A missed user.created event leaves a user without a row in your database.
- Events are retried until your endpoint answers, and you can replay any of them.
Set up in five minutes
- 01In the Clerk Dashboard, open Webhooks → Add Endpoint and paste your HookStead source URL.
- 02Subscribe to the events you need (for example user.created) and create the endpoint.
- 03Copy the signing secret into HookStead. Clerk signs with svix-* headers, which HookStead checks.
| Source option | Clerk (Standard Webhooks / Svix) |
