Changelog

HookStead is in public beta and changes often. Missing something? Tell us.

  1. New

First-event check, event types and rejection reasons

    • A new source's page waits for its first event and confirms it the moment it arrives, signature included.
    • Events now show their type (invoice.paid, pull_request.opened, …), read from each provider's own field.
    • Each source shows its event types over the last 7 days.
    • Rejected requests are listed with the reason: missing header, stale timestamp, wrong secret, wrong webhook ID.
  2. New

PayPal, AWS SNS, HubSpot and Vercel

    • PayPal: certificate signatures verified with your webhook ID; no secret to copy.
    • AWS SNS: certificate signatures verified, subscriptions confirmed automatically, and an optional topic ARN allowlist.
    • HubSpot: v3 signatures (method, URL, body and timestamp) verified, with a 5-minute limit.
    • Vercel: x-vercel-signature (HMAC-SHA1) verified.
    • Integration pages for every supported provider, grouped by category.
  3. Improved

A health overview for your sources

    • Each source shows its status: receiving, quiet, rejecting, paused or waiting for its first event.
    • Last-24-hour activity per source: an hourly trend line, events, delivery success and rejected requests.
    • Summary tiles above the list: events today, delivery success, sources that need attention, and monthly quota.
    • Search, filter by status and sort the sources list; copy a source's URL from the list.
    • Requests that fail signature verification are now counted, so a wrong or rotated secret shows up right away.
    • Set or change a source's provider from its page.
  4. New

Pick your provider when creating a source

    • New sources start with a provider picker: Stripe, GitHub, Shopify, GitLab, Linear, Lemon Squeezy, QuickBooks, OpenAI, Clerk, Supabase and Docker Hub, plus Standard Webhooks and custom setups.
    • Picking a provider sets up signature verification for you and shows its setup steps; you only paste the secret.
    • Standard Webhooks verification now also accepts Svix header names, used by Clerk and others.
    • Sources show their provider's logo in the list and on the source page.
  5. New

Integration pages, learning hub and contact form

    • Integration pages for Stripe, GitHub, Shopify and any other sender.
    • A webhook learning hub with guides on security, retries, idempotency, local testing and Stripe signature errors.
    • A contact form for support, sales, billing and privacy questions.
    • An interactive diagram on the home page showing how a webhook moves through HookStead.
  6. New

    HookStead public beta

    • Sources with signature verification for Stripe, GitHub, Shopify, Standard Webhooks, custom HMAC-SHA256, secret headers and basic auth.
    • Delivery to your endpoints with Standard Webhooks signatures, exponential backoff with jitter, and Retry-After support.
    • Search, retry, replay and bulk retry from the dashboard, plus a REST API with an OpenAPI description.
    • Alerts for failure rates, failures in a row, dead deliveries and quiet sources, with recovery emails.
    • Workspaces, team roles, API keys and an audit log.
    • Free, Pro and Team plans, billed in euros through Stripe.
